It is inevitable that everyone will at some point come to a crossroad in this life. The word “crossroad” actually has three different meanings: a place of intersection, a crucial point where a decision has to be made, and a meeting place.
Crossroads Tabernacle is a place of intersection. The children’s song says, “red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight.” Everyone is loved here, regardless of who you are, where you’re from, or what you have or do not have. We want everyone who crosses our path to know that we really do care.
Crossroads Tabernacle is a place of decision. We believe that everyone will eventually come to a crossroads of faith where they will have to make a crucial decision about Jesus Christ. The simple message of acceptance and forgiveness by grace through faith is not just preached here, it is lived out by acceptance of God's love and loving acceptance of each other.
Crossroads Tabernacle is a meeting place—a place to meet and encounter the tangible manifest presence of God in worship and prayer. Jesus said, "My House will be a House of Prayer.” Seeking the face of God is the foundation and focus of every aspect of this church.
God’s call in Jeremiah 6:16 has become the desire of this church and my prayer for each person I meet:
“Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
