Beth Ann and I were both raised by Godly parents who modeled, mentored and forged a strong faith and character that is the foundation of our lives today. We both attended Olivet Nazarene University near Chicago where we met. After three years in youth ministry, we moved to Texas where I received my Master’s degree in Theology from SMU, Perkins School of Theology.  Beth Ann also earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.  We have two amazing boys, Matthew and Luke.

We began to feel a growing burden to reach out to needy and hopeless people in and around the inner city.  Instead of starting a new church in the suburbs, which we had already begun, God led us to move to Meadowbrook in East Fort Worth where a church building had been left vacant.  We began with a small handful of people who shared our desire to reach out with Christ’s love and give hope to hopeless people. I quickly realized that without the power of prayer people would not be healed and set free. At a Tuesday night prayer meeting in Queens, NY, God birthed in my heart a vision for what prayer could do.  I returned and led our church to begin to cry out to God in prayer.

In 1999, prayer became the foundation for everything that is done at Crossroads. Since then, we have seen many lives changed as they encounter the presence of the Lord. Our church has become a safe place for families in our community to the feel the love of Jesus.

I want to personally invite you and your family to join us this weekend. I believe that Crossroads is a place you can call home.

Our son, Luke’s story:

On July 5, 2002 our youngest son Luke, who was 23 months old, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  The doctors told us that the cancer was in his blood and would kill him within 2 months if left untreated.  That same day we started a 2 1/2 year intensive chemotherapy treatment.  But most importantly, we began to cry out to our Heavenly Father for a miracle to be done on Luke’s behalf.  Our faith was taken to a higher level as we sought the Word of God.  We received His promises for Luke’s healing and we began to stand on those promises.  At the end of the first 30 days, after much prayer and fasting the doctors gave us report that there were no cancer cells remaining in Luke’s body.  He finished his treatments in 2005 and now Luke is still cancer free. What Satan tried to do to destroy Luke and our family, God has taken and used it for His good and His glory!
