Born in New York and raised in Texas, Kirby Laing has called Crossroads Tabernacle home since the age of 12. The church has played a significant role in shaping who she is today and has been instrumental in helping her develop a personal relationship with God.
In 2020, Kirby earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Grand Canyon University. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she faced a pivotal decision: remain in Arizona with many of her friends or return to Texas. After prayerful consideration and choosing to follow God’s direction, she moved back to Texas—a decision she has never regretted.
Kirby spent two years working in Human Resources before feeling a clear calling from God to seek employment at Crossroads. Although the purpose wasn’t immediately clear, she chose obedience. In God’s perfect timing, the door opened when the previous assistant resigned, allowing her to step into her current role.
Today, Kirby serves as the Administrative Assistant and Marketing Lead, overseeing the church’s social media platforms and all marketing materials. She also supports a wide range of responsibilities, from organizing community events to handling day-to-day administrative tasks. She considers it a joy and a blessing to serve in the place where God has planted her.
