Kristi Johnson is a dedicated educator and ministry leader from Huntsville, Texas. She is married to Oma Johnson and has three amazing children — one daughter and two sons. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and currently serves as a Special Education Inclusion teacher. Kristi has been a committed member of CT for nearly 19 years, with the majority of that time spent faithfully serving in the Kids Ministry.
In 2021, Kristi stepped into the role of Children’s Director during the post-COVID transition period— a unique and challenging time as the church community returned to in-person gatherings with renewed focus on safety and connection. Her highest priority in this ministry is the safety and well-being of every child—mentally, physically, and spiritually. She approaches her role with great care, recognizing the profound responsibility of guiding children in their early faith journey.
Kristi’s ministry is anchored in Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” This verse shapes her prayers and vision for the children she serves, and she counts it a true blessing and honor to witness their growth in the Lord.
